As someone who actively tries to find good thrillers (and mostly never find), I came across this book while surfing on Goodreads. The title, dark book cover and the high ratings convinced me to try reading this. All I thought about after reading the book was that it was strange but I LOVED it.

Great. So here's my complete spoiler-free review of this book.
Premise: The protagonist is travelling with her boyfriend to meet his parents for the first time. They talk a lot and seem to be in good terms. But she keeps thinking of ending things with him, in fact she constantly thinks about it. Things start to get more more weird...
Ok that was pretty vague but I don't want to give away too much since they would potentially be spoilers. From the beginning I knew something was wrong, I just didn't know what. There were some weird stuff happening in her life which she has to deal with. A lot of things don't make sense. In fact nothing is clear until the very end. And this is a book that deserves to be read more than once to notice all the details.
The author manages to keep you invested in the book from the start to end, he builds up the tension as things start to crazier. The whole atmosphere is eerie, almost like this is some supernatural horror setting. But I will say that this is much worse than that.
In the beginning the conversations between the protagonist and her boyfriend seem so philosophical and cheesy but they are important for the story. We get to know more about the characters through those conversations. We are also shown their past, where and how they met and so on. These are important when we arrive at the end of the book.
I can clearly remember some of the bizzare scenes that take place after halfway through the book. Again, I don't want to describe or reveal anything.
And what I really loved about the book was the ending. I speed-read this book in a day and I had to slow down when I reached the end. When I finished it my mind went blank and had to search online to understand what actually happened. And like I said earlier this book deserves to be read more than once. It has a lot of details and hints throughout the book which we miss.
I remember when I finished this book, I gave it a lower rating but that was because I didn't understand the ending. It took me a while to process everything and when I did, I had to change my rating.
My Rating for "I'm Thinking Of Ending Things" : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stop whatever you're doing and go read it everyone :3
That's all for this review, thank you so much for reading :3
